About Us

My name is Julian. My personal nail polish journey started during high school. Back when I had a little emo in me, I would paint my nails all shades of teal, black, and violet. I remember just how bad I was at painting my nails and passing off the messy application as ‘grunge’ lol.

After a couple of years, I found polishes beyond mainstream brands carried much more unique formulas and wayyy better application. As a creative, there’s only so much you can do just by scouring the Internet and trying to find the perfect shade, so instead, you learn the process and bring your ideas to life through lacquer.

Initially impressing just my close circle, I got the urge to design collections from stories in my head and share them with others. Hence Muyeti’s existence.

I wanted the brand to feel like a museum, and each polish to be its own art in its own exhibit. Building the brand has allowed me to explore my creativity even further and, hearing feedback from others, turn their creativity into something tangible.

My goal is to create effortless polishes that glisten with beauty. Stunning and spectacular formulas are important to me. I believe no matter how busy your life is, you should always make time to add some color in your life, and what better way to display color than on your fingertips?
